Melissa joined Cervizzi & Associates in 2022. After a lengthy career of practicing law in the State of New Hampshire, Melissa has returned to practice law in Massachusetts where she began her career as a young Associate working for a small boutique Boston law firm specializing in insurance defense. While first practicing in New Hampshire, Melissa gained experience working in a small general practice law firm covering a broad range of issues including bankruptcy, real estate, as well as family law. Most recently, Melissa’s practice in New Hampshire focused primarily on family law including divorce, post-divorce modification and contempt matters, as well as child related issues including paternity and child support. Melissa’s practice also included drafting Pre-Nuptial Agreements as well as Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. Melissa has represented clients in guardianship of minor matters and has experience in Estate Planning. Melissa will continue to represent clients in New Hampshire and will join our team representing clients in Massachusetts bringing her 20 years of experience litigating and negotiating family law matters, wisdom, understanding of the law as well as her compassion for her clients.
