Jessica joined Cervizzi & Associates in 2016. Jessica focuses her practice in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, modification, paternity, contempts, co-parent and step-parent adoption, mediation, abuse prevention and restraining orders, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and reproductive law, including egg and sperm donor agreements. She is also a certified family law mediator and provides mediation services to clients in all areas of family law and parenting. Additionally, she has unique and extensive experience working with the LGBTQ community and also has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Prior to joining Cervizzi & Associates, Jessica practiced at a small Boston law firm and focused primarily on family law.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from The University of Connecticut. Jessica is a graduate of New England Law | Boston.
Jessica is a member of the Massachusetts Domestic and Sexual Violence Council (DSVC) and previously served as Co-Chair. The DSVC is a Boston-based organization comprised of attorneys and other advocates working to promote awareness of domestic and sexual violence and to assist the legal community in working with survivors.
In 2015, Jessica received the Shining Star Award from the Victim Rights Law Center, given each year to one individual in recognition of outstanding advocacy on behalf of sexual assault survivors.
She has been recognized by colleagues as a Massachusetts Rising Star in Boston Magazine’s annual list of Super Lawyers for years 2013-2021. No more than 2.5% of Massachusetts lawyers are named to the list of Rising Stars. She received the distinction of “Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts” by Boston Magazine in years 2013-2020.
