Elena joined Cervizzi & Associates as a Partner in February of 2025. Elena focuses her practice in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony modification, paternity actions, contempts, mediation, abuse prevention and restraining orders, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. Elena also represents families who are involved with the Department of Children and Families in the probate and juvenile courts, as well as conducts Fair Hearings for her clients.

Elena graduated from Bradford College in 2000 with a Bachelors’ Degree in liberal arts before receiving her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2003. During her time in law school, she interned for the Law Offices of Rosemary Scapicchio and James E. McCall, where she learned proven criminal defense strategies. Elena learned the intricacies of Massachusetts family law as an intern at the Law Office of Lynn M. Murphy after completing her first year of law school.

Elena was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar on December 10, 2003. She was admitted to the Federal Bar for the District of Massachusetts in 2009.

Elena founded her firm in 2006 with the goal of providing efficient and effective representation to Essex. Middlesex and Suffolk County residents. Elena’s practice included all aspects of family law, criminal law, personal injury and appellate practice. Elena has authored appellate briefs in the areas of criminal and family law since 2004.

Elena is a member of the Essex County Bar Association. Elena is a certified conciliator for the Probate and Family Courts.

Elena has earned the Lawyers of Distinction’s Excellence in Family and Divorce Law award in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Elena is the mother of two wonderful children and in her spare time loves to read, cook and spend time with her family.
